Web Developer
Are you frustrated with the state of the Web? Do you spend your days finding things to criticize in the Websites you visit? The sites you make? Are you sick and tired of shitty and inconsistent browsers?

That's why we're seeking talented, professional Web people who make things better, sweat the details, and deliver on time (but still know how much better it could be with a just a little more tweaking…).
As a Tugboat Group Web Developer you kill with your:
- Mastery of HTML, CSS and JavaScript (jQuery). Familiarity with Ajax, JSON, CSS3, HTML5
- Ability to extend content management systems with custom modules or Plug-ins
- Ability to work as part of a small team and communicate effectively
- Comfort jumping between time-sensitive tasks, into legacy code and across a range of platforms.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Formal education in Computer Science, Web Development or related technical discipline
- Demonstrable experience in database-driven Web development on the LAMP stack
- Excellent PHP and SQL skills with understanding of OOP and RDBMS design
- Experience with content management systems like Drupal 6 with CCK, Views, Webform, Simplenews, ImageCache, Pathauto, Ubercart, etc…
- Working knowledge of SVN or GIT
- Undaunted by the command line
- Understanding of best practices for secure PHP and cross-browser development
- Experience with mobile app development would be an asset
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
