Back in July we wrote about Helitech, one of a handful of companies in the world capable of repairing and rebuilding Bell rotary-wing aircraft, most notably the U1H1 or “Huey” helicopter. At that time, Tugboat was just at the beginning of a full rebranding and visual identity redesign.

Blah, blah, blah.
We did this. We did that. Look at the picture. Yawn. So flaccid. So bereft of content. So stripped of meaning. Such is the sad life of a portfolio.

Steve and Darren, from Tugboat, accompanied Jesse from Jind Fruit Co. to the annual Produce Marketing Association's Fresh Summit, held in Atlanta in October.
It took three full days to make it through the entire show (no word of a lie – Darren still has a slight limp).

The summer nights of June and July have yielded to the brisk breeze of fall. So much summer, so little time. Sounds like a John Hughes movie (click - it's worth it!) and it tastes even better.

The JIND Fruit Co. tagline has been brought to sweet, summer life on the web. When developing the theme and strategy for this site, we realized everyone knows what an apple looks like. Chances were also good that most humans can recognize cherries and peaches as well.
We are stoked to introduce you to Ashley Chura, 3rd Engineer, Marketing.
At Tugboat, Ashley is responsible for pretty much anything we throw at her and, she's a damned good catch. Marketing analysis and strategy, creative, you name it. She's also driving social media activities for our clients and hitting it out of the park already - see the Apples of Movember tweets for JIND Fruit. #winning.

Originally from Victoria, Ashley spent her first two years of post-secondary school at Acadia University in Nova Scotia, aiming for a career in politics. After realizing the drab reality of having to wear a suit every day, she flew back to the West Coast to find a career that better suited her nature. Eventually, the lurid appeal of marketing drew the young and impressionable Ashley into its embrace and three years later she completed her BBA in Marketing Communications Management from Camosun College.
For Ashley, marketing is like a puzzle that she needs to put together. So, from press releases to social media campaigns, Ashley looks to put the pieces together to help an organization achieve its goals.
When Ashley is not thinking about marketing, she enjoys cooking, engaging in sports and spending time on Facebook. (Just kidding about the last one). If you can't find Ashley on a softball field, in a skating rink or on a tennis court, you will find her in the kitchen. She loves to try new recipes that allow her to work with a variety of spices to expand her creativity.
