case study

  • the challenge

Re-launch an established company with a new name and identity, increase market share and develop support for a dealer network.

  • the approach

With the mantra of “nothing is sacred,” everything was put on the table for critical review and determination.

  • the result

A fresh new brand, a defendable position and a go-to-market strategy with supporting materials and a robust web presence.

Marketing plan and brand development.

Complete re-branding services, comprehensive collateral development, marketing strategy and campaign execution.

West Coast Windows had been manufacturing custom-crafted vinyl windows and doors for over thirty years when Tugboat was retained to lead the executive team through a comprehensive rebranding program. Nothing was sacred, including the name. After several visioning and planning charettes, West Coast Windows was established, along with clear and attainable short and long-term goals.

Tugboat Media launched its services with the development of a comprehensive marketing plan. First projects were a strategic brand strategy, including development of a new name and visual identity. New marketing collateral, media buying services, a new website, direct mail campaigns, event planning, print advertising and portable (tradeshow) showroom were projects that all followed suit.
