St. James Community Services Society Annual Report & Collateral
A community service based society that provides care and support for the most marginalized, Vancouver's St. James Community Service Society approached Tugboat to develop its Annual Reports for 2008/2009 and 2009/2010.
Wanting to promote the positive effectiveness and innovation of their programs, and not focus on the negative aspects of living homeless in the downtown eastside, Tugboat championed a powerful theme that would tell this story. Each annual report shared a vision of promoting empowerment and dignity for the people most in need.
In creating imagery and content focusing on its impassioned staff, it's connection to its communities and housing and its hospices, the annual report projected an image of hope was shared with its donors.
Additional marketing materials were created to support each year's annual report initiatives. Development was focused on creating event fundraising posters, event invitations and mailout donor cards. A comprehensive website that provides a full range of information and services for St. James was also developed by Tugboat.
