BC Food Processors Association Web Application and Trade Show Microsite

Prior to engaging Tugboat Group, the British Columbia Food Processors Association managed their membership, events, and FoodPro West trade show across several websites. Consolidating each of them into one multifaceted web experience was the prime directive of the new build, and Tugboat accomplished the task by building the new site and application on the Drupal framework. Behind the responsive and visually engaging GUI design, BCFPA administrators manage all web content, membership e-commerce transactions, and event logistics and registration via the administrative console. Members receive e-mail notification of impending membership expiration, and manage their annual dues and corporate profiles.

Members and non-members publish job offers and items for sale in the BCFPA marketplace. It is a perk for membership, but non-members pay a small fee.

BCFPA administrators keep all web content current and fresh via simple WYSIWYG editors that run in any web browser.

Compelling editorial and news articles are indexed and easily retrievable by members, and also responsive for mobile-friendly viewing.

FOODPROWEST

The BCFPA trade show that brings the industry together is FoodProWest. The event is managed entirely through this web application, from registration to gala tickets and delegate attendee information, exported for name tags. Similar to the main site, BCFPA administrators keep all content in the FPW section fresh, including sponsorship information, photographs and graphics. Several dynamic forms allow for the nomination of finalists for a number of awards.
