Carlson Wagonlit Travel's CWT Vacation Club
Tugboat Group helped Carlson Wagonlit Travel "Get More Going" with the user experience, interface design and coding for their very busy leisure travel online booking system. Multiple partner websites are supported by a hyper-targeted e-marketing program, pitching everything from last minute offers to CWT Vacation Club benefits and credit card loyalty program point redemption.
The CWT Vacation Club and partner websites operate as aggregators of vacation properties and products drawn from multiple sources. Carlson Wagonlit Travel manages company property inventory, while the web application calls product from Soft Voyage's vast inventory of flights, vacations package and hotel suppliers. Tugboat's GUI experts hammered out the user experience, GUI design and front-end coding while managing requirements and feedback from CWT stakeholders accross the country. Back end software was written and supplied by Vancouver's 2Paths.
CWT is the travel fulfillment partner for the RBC Rewards® program, where members can redeem RBC Rewards points or use an eligible RBC Royal Bank® credit card to book with CWT for earning additional RBC Rewards points. The RBC Rewards instance of the CWT website also enables RBC members to access exclusive CWT offers on vacations in Europe, the Caribbean and Alaska.
